Program Details
You will be joining our 60-Hour Certificate Healthcare Interpreter Program, designed to be completed within 12 to 16 weeks. We recommend dedicating at least 5 hours per week to the program, which includes lessons, assignments, exams, and practice sessions.
The program consists of three courses and a final evaluation:
Comprehensive Medical Terminology - English (Part 1): 4 to 5 weeks
Medical Terminology in Spanish (Part 2): 4 to 5 weeks
Professional Medical Interpreter Concepts and Skills (Part 3): 4 to 5 weeks
Comprehensive Final Evaluation (CFE) in both languages.
Requirements and Responsibilities
Practice Sessions: You are required to attend at least six live practice sessions, with two sessions for each part of the program. Additional sessions are available for Part 3 to help you prepare for the CFE. These sessions are held on weekends, typically lasting one hour each, and can be attended via phone or online. You will receive reminders for each session.
Program Fees: Your total registration fee for the program, including the final evaluation, is $300.00.
Extension: If you are unable to complete the program within 16 weeks, you may extend your enrollment for $90.00 per month.
