This is the Special Group Discount Registration and Orientation Page.

Part 1: Anatomy and Medical Terminology for Interpreters (English): Section 1 and Section 2.

Section 1: Anatomy, Cardiovascular Diseases, Musculoskeletal Diseases, Digestive and Endocrine Diseases, Nervous System Diseases. 

Section 2: Respiratory Diseases, Urinary Diseases, Reproductive Diseases, Blood Disorders, Immune System

Includes: Specialties, Procedures, Medications, Specialties.

You will have 6 weeks to complete the course AMT 1: 3 weeks for Section 1, 3 weeks for Section 2.

You will take and pass quizzes, exams and submit assignments.

You will attend practice sessions by phone, minimum of one practice session per section.

You may receive a certificate of attendance for Anatomy and Medical Terminology (English) for Interpreters after successful completion of Section 1 and Section 2 requirements including the exams and practice sessions, if completed within 6 weeks. You will need to request your certificate of attendance if you do wish to continue with Part 2 and Part 3 of the program. (Progress is based on performance so it is possible to finish sooner than 6 weeks.)

After payment processing, you will have a brief orientation and pretest, and then you would be able to start Lesson 1 of Section 1!

Please note that the Pretest is required but will not be evaluated unless you decide to continue with the comprehensive medical interpreter program. If you would like to continue, please contact Marlene for additional information.

After completing Section 1, you would receive Section 2 lessons after grading of the assignments and exams for Section 1. If everything is satisfactory, you will receive access to Section 2.

If you cancel your registration within 24 hours, there is a $5.00 cancellation fee provided you have not received access to the lessons.

If you cancel your registration after 24 hours, there is a cancellation fee of $50.00 provided you have not received access to the lessons. There is no refund past 5 days of registration.

There is no refund once you receive access to the lessons. You would have to complete the lessons, or you may substitute another person to take your place. You will need to make your own arrangements if you would like to do this. The substitute person must contact Culture Advantage and complete the application form for approval to take the course. This must be completed within 7 days of registration.
