This fee is for non-Culture Advantage interpreters who would like to join our group practice sessions (Language-Specific).
Join the Culture Advantage Consecutive Interpreting Practice on weekends. They are also offered on some Fridays. Once the payment is received, you will receive the notice for the next practice session in your language pair. Please contact Marlene for approval
before enrolling.
During our practice sessions, you practice utterances of real-life simulations of clinical encounters, from simple office visits to complex, high register encounters. You will receive feedback on accuracy, protocol, interpreting skills, adherence to standards,
etc.
They last from 1-2 hours. If there are more than 8 students, we may extend the time up to 2 hours to allow everyone to participate. Or we may divide the group into 2 and schedule them one after the other.
