PBCEU 2 Hours Language-Specific Consecutive Interpreting

Different medical topics are presented each week during live consecutive interpreting  practice sessions. (This is not a webinar. This is live, oral practice session.) The topics and learning objectives, including the conference call line will be sent to the participants prior to the call.

The sessions may be conducted in English and/or the language pair.  Participants need to attend 2 sessions to receive a 2-Hour CEU certificate. The 2 sessions must be completed within a 4-week time period.

Participants who speak the same language pair will practice in their language pair. Sessions may be recorded.

Requirements:

1. Sign up at least 24 hours in advance for each session. Each session may last from 60 minutes to 75 minutes.

2. Oral participation is required. Sessions are conducted by phone only. Or you may attend using VOIP (computer with headset). Please check that your computer is compatible before using your computer to connect. 

3. A post test and brief evaluation must be completed after the session in order to receive a certificate.

4. There is no refund for cancellations. You may request to attend an alternate session if you miss a session.

5. Both sessions must be completed within 4 weeks, including the evaluation.

6. Participants must present their CMI or CHI certificate to attend the session for CEUs.

Please note that a session may be cancelled if nobody calls in within the first 15 minutes of the call. Participants will have to request to attend an alternate session.

In the event that Culture Advantage cancels a session, you may attend an alternate session of your choosing, within the next 30 days.
