Welcome to the Registration Page for the Medical Interpreter Program.
The program includes the following courses to be completed within 9 to 12 weeks, depending on your approved Program Plan.
Part 1: Section 1 and Section 2
Part 2: Section 1 and Section 2 (You will be enrolled separately after you complete Part 1.)
Part 3: There are four sections. (You will be enrolled separately after Part 1 and Part 2 are completed.)
Final Evaluation (on the 12th or 13th week to be reserved at least one week in advance.)
This is the payment page for pre-approved students enrolled under OCIN Scholarship.
After payment processing, you will be able to log in and complete the orientation and start Part 1.
Part 1 is English Medical Terminology.
You need to attend at least 2 Part 1 Practice Sessions, the first one during your first week in the program and the second one on Weeks 3 or 4, before you take the Part 1 Final Exam.
After you complete Part 1 successfully, you will be enrolled in Part 2. Your language-specific section where you will submit translation assignments in your language pair. After completing Part 2, you will be enrolled Part 3, the Professional Medical Interpreting Course where you will practice interpreting in both languages.
Then you will be ready for the Comprehensive Final Evaluation (CFE).
